FromI'm from the island but was living in Whitehorse over the last decade. I ended up here by accident but I love it. I stayed for the proximity to ocean and mountain adventure settings.

From'-Originally from Galicia (Celtic land in the northwest of Spain). -Moved here after living for 9 years in US (Colorado and California). -After the last horrible mass shooting in an elementary school in 2021, we decided to move to Canada near my (now ex) husband's family. We choose Comox Valley after exploring Vancouver Island for a while. -I thank the Universe everyday to living in a paradise, surrounded by kind people, and not being terrorized by sending my girl to school every day.

FromI came to the Comox Valley in 2021 from Victoria with my wife and dog. I had just started a new job that was fully remote, and my wife and I had visited the Comox Valley and loved the pace of life, the nature, and the beauty up here. Victoria had become so busy and crowded and no longer fit our lifestyle.

FromNorthern BC. Wanted to get back to the island and be somewhere smaller than Victoria. I had never been to the Valley before.

FromI moved around a lot the past 20 years, but when I lived in Powell River I always enjoyed coming over to Comox. It's a really nice area, access to outdoor activities and bigger cities aren't crazy inaccessible either.

FromI moved from Bowen Island where my family is based, but I lived in New Zealand longer term before that. I visited the valley for the first time on a bike trip when I was exploring places I might like to land more permanently. It ticked all the boxes with access to the outdoors, a vibrant community, and slower pace of life. I’ve been here for 1.5 years and loving it so far!
